本日は、紀州備長炭染めの素材の紹介です。

粗野な糸を使い、限界まで高密度に織り上げた

TIPICOオリジナル生地「馬布（ばふ）」を使い、
紀州備長炭で手作業により染め上げました。

さらに、生地に余計な張力をかけず、ワッシャー仕上げを施しました。

高密度ならではのハリ感とランダムに浮かぶムラとシワが絶妙に調和し、

唯一無二の存在感を放つ素材に仕上がりました。

同じ生機を使い、アンティークフィニッシュを施した【TP-1986-WW】や、
オイルコーティング風の【TP-2006-OIL】なども展開しております。

Woven to maximum density with coarse yarns,
the TIPICO original fabric Bafu embodies craftsmanship and character.

Hand-dyed with Kishu Binchotan charcoal
and finished with a washer process without applying excess tension,
it features a crisp density, irregular shades, and natural wrinkles—
all blending together to create a fabric with a truly unique presence.

We also offer variations made from the same base fabric,
such as 【TP-1986-WW】 with an antique finish
and 【TP-2006-OIL】 with an oil-coated look.

リネン混ならではの清涼感と自然なシボ感に、
炭染め特有のムラ感が加わり、
独特の表情を持つ素材に仕上がりました。

Cotton/Linen poplin fabric, hand-dyed one bolt at a time using Kishu Binchotan charcoal extract, and gently washed without tension.The fabric combines the freshness and natural texture unique to cotton/linen with the subtle irregularities of charcoal dyeing, giving it a distinctive character.
